Daniel Frishman (born July 22, 1946) appeared in a recurring role on Night Court, as District Attorney Vincent Daniels. He first appears in the Season 3 episode "Dan's Boss".


The diminuitive Frishman, who stands at 4'3", began his career as a stage actor in Seatlle, WA, where he noticed in the Little People of America (LPA) newsletter seeking little people for the movie Under the Rainbow. He answered, auditioned and got the role of The Mayor of Munchkinland. Prior to this, he had performed Shakespearen theatre, playing Caliban in The Tempest and the Porter in Macbeth, Shortly after Under the Rainbow was completed, he relocated to Los Angeles and began his career in film and television.[1]

Daniel has made numerous guest TV series appearances, in roles on ABC's thirtysomething and Moonlighting, NBC-TV's Amazing Stories, FOx's Married with Children and CBS-TV's Designing Women. He has also made notable big screen appearances, in Star Wars: Episode VI - The Return of the Jedi (1983), The Ewok Adventure (1984), the Chuck Norris action film Lone Wolf McQuade (1983), and Lust in the Dust (1985).

Daniel, who was born and raised in San Francisco, CA, resides currently in Washington, where he is currenty works as a realtor.
