When Mrs. Stuckey, a woman brought into court to stand trial foe breaking into a grocery store and shoplifting a case of cat food, is summoned to approach Harry's bench when her case is called, tries to get his sympathy, as she's just one of the many cons, liars, hucksters and cheats who flood his courtroom after the word was leaked about he being entrusted by a one Leo Baldassare (Sydney Lassick), a meek man who has the $3,000,000 winning ticket in the recent NY State Lottery drawing, to find someone who really needs the money.
When asked by Harry as why she chose to steal a can of cat food, instead of some regular food, Gertrude, who claimed that she and her husband Dexter "are despreately poor", struggles to come up with a way to describe why as she says "Because it would look more..." as Harry completes hee sentence in saying "Pathetic?" as she finishes "...Right!"
After the many other people trying to cash in that are in the courtroom start to go into an uproar when Harry rebuffs them, as well as Gertrude (who's greeed by the others with jeers) with a demonstrative "Wrong!!", Gertrude, as she leaves the courtroom when her sentence was passed, responds to the other con people with "Ahh! See if you clowns can do better!"
