Halloween II: The Return of Leon was the 4th episode of Season 4 of Night Court, also the 61st overall series episode. Written by Linwood Boomer, and directed by Tim Steele, the episode, which aired on NBC-TV, first aired on October 30, 1986 and was based loosely on the plot of the John Carpenter film Halloween II.

Synopsis[]
Harry looks forward to seeing Leon again while Dan crawls for an invitation to his boss' Halloween party. Bull dons a special mask and "clears out" the case docket using only a small knife.
Storyline[]
Leon returns to Manhattan, but threatens to run away again if Harry reports him to the authorities. Dan plans to crash District Attorney Daniels's Halloween party. Roz is drowned in a scalding hot vat of water.
Plot Summary[]
Bumper Robinson returns to the role of orphaned shoeshine boy Leon, back in New York for Halloween. At first, Leon's onetime foster dad Harry (Harry Anderson) is happy to see the boy--but that is before Leon confesses that he has run away from his adoptive parents, and threatens to disappear from view entire if Harry turns him into the authorities. He gets his wish when Bull hits him in the head with a hammer. Meanwhile, Dan (John Larroquette) plunges to the depths of degradation in his efforts to wangle an invite to a Halloween party held by his nasty boss Vincent Daniels (Daniel Frishman). The party ends when Donald Pleasance's character lights a flame in a room filled with gas.
