About Jerome

When Judge Stone's courtroom gets innundated with all types of hucksters, cons and malingerers who are trying work on his sympathy to cash in on the benevolence of Leo Baldassare, a man who's hit a $3,000,000 jackpot with the winning ticket in the New York State Lottery who's asked Harry to find someone who's in need that he could give his winnings to, one of those people is Jerome, who's charged with smashing up a hospital cafetria.

When Jerome (whom Dan, the prosecutor, has on record that the hospital he was arrested at had no record of him having been  admitted there) is summned to approch the bench, he claims that he has 6 months to live, as he then gets into shouting match with a man with an eyepach (Don Sherman) as Jerome argues to the man that he was so poor as a child that he had "rabbit dolls for pets" as thre other man claimed that his father "gave him pet rocks and told him to name them" as Harry had to yell "People" to restore order!
