Joleen Lutz (born October 6, 1958) is the actress who played the recurring role of Lisette Hocheiser, the new court stenographer in Seasons 8 and 9 of Night Court. Joleen is a native of Chicago, IL.


In addition to her appearance in the Heroes Evolutions documentary Sword Saint, Joleen has had numerous acting roles, in shows such as Desperate Housewives, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Boston Legal, Strong Medicine, Gacy, and Less Than Perfect. Joleen has acted in several theatrical performances, including Poetry Without Prozac (which she wrote), A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Importance of Being Ernest, and her one-woman show Gossamer Wings. She has also done a number of television commercials, most notably acting in spots for Burger King.


  • Joleen is an animal expert. In that capacity, she has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, After Curfew, Next, Live on Q, and several Animal Planet shows. She appeared on The Ointment [1] to discuss the sex lives of animals.
