Reid Asato appears on Night Court as one of two Japanese Sumo Wrestlers who get trapped in the courthouse elevator, while earthquake tremors rock the city in the Season 4 episode titled "Earthquake". Reid appered as "Muto" in the 1991 film Showdown in Little Tokyo, and as "Etok" in the Steven Seagal film On Deadly Ground in 1994, and also appeared as a Sumo Wrestler again in 2001:A Space Travesty in 2000. Reid also made an appearance on the FOX-TV series New York Undercover.
